We are preparing a new Taylor Swift Special Broadcast. Don't forget to visit Taylor Swift Official Website. We were on air on a new frequency today. The conditions were very bad again today, but we tried to go on air on the afternoom. We received 3 reception reports. The conditions were very bad this week-end, but we were on air. Marco in Germany heard us, it's not so bad. We have the wire and the balun, to build a dipole antenna, but there is still a lot of snow here, we will try to make the new antenna when the weather will be better. American Graffiti Special Broadcast again, we received 3 reports (Germany and England), and sent 3 new e-QSL cards. We really need to build our dipole antenna. American Graffiti Special Broadcast again, we received 3 reports, and sent 3 new e-QSL cards. The conditions were not good today on the 48 meters band. American Graffiti Special Broadcast, we received 3 reports, and sent 3 new e-QSL cards. This week we are very proud that Radio Mia has a good article in Dr Tim's News. Thank you very much Dr Tim ! Taylor Swift Special Broadcast again, we received 5 reports, and sent 4 new e-QSL cards. We hope to build a new antenna soon, bigger and better. First broadcast of Radio Mia. We received 5 reception reports, and sent 5 e-QSL cards ! The first report was sent by Dr Tim. Remember that we will do different QSL cards for each broadcast. You can see details about the broadcast and the reception reports in the Broadcasts section. We built an outdoor 12 meters long wire antenna, plugged to a magnetic base of a cibi radio car antenna, which is on a big metal piece (making the ground plane, instead of a car). It's a little bit strange, but the TOS is very good ! We plan to make tests very soon, with low power (between 1 and 4 watts). We just added a potentiometer with a knob on the front part of the Corsair Transmitter, to adjust the power. We added new pictures of the transmitter in the Transmitter section. We just added a potentiometer with a knob on the front part of the Corsair Transmitter, to adjust the modulation more easily. And we built a kind of echo chamber, with an old cibi radio microphone, to have a better modulation (which is already very good). The next step is to put also a knob for the output power setting. We will add new pictures of the transmitter and the echo chamber soon. The Corsair transmitter is totaly ready. You can see pictures of it in the Transmitter section. The last test was again very good, about 10 watts of maximum power, and the audio is very good. Now we have to fix the antenna. Second test of our home built Corsair transmitter, the power is about 10 watts on the dummy load. We just began to put the transmitter inside a biscuit metal box, to make the last connections, and to install an air supply fan. Our first electronic QSL card is ready, we hope that somebody will hear our first transmission (a Taylor Swift Special Broadcast) and will send us a reception report. First test of our home built Corsair transmitter, it's working ! At this moment, we have only 4 crystals (6215, 6325, 6400 and 6553 kHz), a short indoor dipole antenna, an outdoor long wire antenna. Pictures will be on the website soon. Now we have to finish the transmitter, to fix and test the antenna. We hope to be on air soon with a Taylor Swift Special Broadcast. Birth of the Free Pirate Station : Radio Mia. In the future, we plan to transmit on shortwaves. So stay tuned ! Please leave a message in our gestbook : Radio Mia's Guestbook.
